C63S w205 16”
Cooling system issue

Hello, I am new owner of used c63s 16” millage around 44000mi
weistec stage 2 catless dp,air filter and bov
i notice after i drive car normally the cooling fan turn into Highest level And it settles like this and never calm
is it normal?

With the Hot-V setup these engines have, it's typical for the fan to kick in after the engine is shut down and run for up to 10 minutes to cool the turbos. Depending on how you just drove prior to it. It can take as little as a quick acceleration up an on-ramp and then parking the car shortly after for the fans to run. Those turbos get hot. It's all the more likely on a warm day. Shouldn't happen if you stayed out of boost the entire time, though like after a long highway cruise, but as soon as the turbos come on, they get hot and cooling is required if you park it with them being hot.

Agree with superswiss, sometimes even after a 4 or 5 mile cool down on the highway otw home I still have the fans blasting once I get out. All the more if you are stage 2 running increased boost. Nothing to worry about as long as your don't hammer out then shut the car off right away, these cars were designed for autobahn travel with high speeds in mind.

Had the same problem, my transmission temperature reached 248F. Soo i’ll check it

I’d check if you have a coolant leak from your front heat exchanger. (The one that’s literally in the front.. oil cooler is attached to it at the bottom)

my C63s reached 253f and it was caused by a rock puncturing the heat exchanger.

Hi connect to XENTRY and check voltage levels on water pumps. My car was not overheating but at the dyno at wide open throttle it would pull timing. because the pump wasn't 100% working
