Angry 19 C63 CPC Module worth it?

I recently had my C63 Stage 2 tuned. Was supposed to put me at 600+ hp. Apparently it can not be achieved with out replacing the CPC module. Has any one had is done?

600+ WHP on a Stage 2? Are you tuned for methanol, race gas, or ethanol? Yes, the TCU will bring power down if not turned, but this is typically applicable to turbo swapped vehicles. You should not need a TCU tune for Stage 2.

He’s probably talking about crank hp.

from my experience on this, the Ecu will be capped at a certain ignition timing and it will also limit boost because of signals or flags it’s getting from the cpc module. I have many logs to prove this thanks to the help of @PTG

the difference can be very big yes, but I’d suggest getting all three tunes from one supplier. This way the blame game doesn’t start happening.

Check out Premier Tuning Group’s website and social media. They have their own tuning software which many other tuners also use to flash the Ecu tcu and cpc all via OBD. They are very knowledgeable about this.

With the CPC tune, does the car make more power?

I put down 538whp on a Stage 1 tune from Eurocharged... so that translates to roughly 630 crank hp.

As mentioned previously the TCU tune will yield more power, yes, but only after a certain threshold. Stage 1 or 2, you shouldn't need a TCU tune.

Raphamn- are you happy with your Eurocharged Tune? I just spoke with one of their techs earlier today and he seems very knowledgeable , apparently they can tune the ECU without having to replace the CPC Module. The results looks pretty impressive on their website. I'm considering TCU too.

Tks

My car was tuned on-site by Adam at Eurocharged Austin, TX. He did an amazing job and I got some solid results: 538/596 to the wheels. Yes, they can tune the ECU and TCU on-site, and should be able to do the same remotely with a tuning device. Per their site, "All 2020+ Models will need the CPC to be tuned as well"; mine is a 2016 and was not needed, but will be needed when I upgrade the turbos.
