Time to sell my 2018 C63s coupe?

Hey folks,

I haven't posted on this forum in couple years, but driving home after picking up my car from service today I was thinking to myself if it might be the right time to move onto something else. I haven't been paying too much attention to the car market in general as of late, so I was hoping to get some opinions on this either way.

Quick backstory -- I special ordered the car back in 2018. It can't seem to find the spec sheet, but it has pretty much every option except for the nanny driver package with laser cruise control and whatever else was included with that one. It's gray with red interior, upgraded wheels, sport exhaust, HUD, and all of the option packages except for the aforementioned one; I even got the silly air freshener thing in the glove box. Mileage is currently a hair over 28,000.

As far as this car goes, I've always really liked it and still do. I'd actually be fine keeping it for another year or two probably. The only problem is, as I came to find out since dropping it off at the dealer the other day, is that it's both now out of warranty and my prepaid maintenance period is finished. So I paid almost $900 for what was essentially a glorified oil change today. The HUD wasn't working either, and they were going to charge $250 to diagnose the problem, but luckily it was just turned off -- I'm guessing from one of the valet guys at my office building. I also need new front and rear brake pads, which the dealership quoted me $1,500, but I'll just have those done at an local place and save at least $500. Regardless, maintaining the car at this point could get expensive.

Since I haven't been to into the car game these past few years, I was hoping for some insight from folks that are up to date on things. From looking at used prices for cars with similar mileage to mine, it looks like around $70-75k is the going rate. That's way more than I would have expected, so please let me know if those figures are off. I've heard cars in general, new or used, are really expensive these days, but I haven't actually put any time into researching this. So I'd love to hear some opinions, such as:

Would be advisable to sell my C63 now? Why or why not?
Or, should I keep it for another year or so? Maybe buy an extended warranty if they're worth it?

And of course the last consideration if I were to sell it now, would be what to get to replace it. I'm pretty open there. My last car was an M4 that I also special ordered, and I've had a couple S/RS Audis, so I tend to like German brands. I like fast cars, so that's a must, but couldn't see myself driving an EV. I'd be open to new or used with a budget of $150,000. The new M cars look appealing, but are they totally over priced now and hard to get? If so, is there anything out that's a good deal, new or used that would be good replacement for the C63?

Pretty broad topic here, so thanks for any insight.

What will you get as a replacement? There are not many v8 option under 100k that has the breadths of ability like our 63 coupe. The only thing i can think of is the shelby gt500 or move up to the amg gtr

C63 amg edition 1
M5 is looking pretty appealing even in its stock form 617hp 0-60 in 2.6 seconds 🤷‍♂️ 4.4L TT V8. Tons of tuning potential. Or a GTR. Those would be my next choices

Used AMG GT 4 door or new E63s.
I stay away from BMW personally because

internals in bmw m v8 are pretty weak compare to amg. The m177/m178 are pretty bulletproof even when upgrading the turbos with stock internals

AMG C63s
I traded my 18' C63s and got myself a 992. I really loved my AMG and it was hard to say goodbye, but never regretted the change either. Just different animals and your decision depends what you want to do with your cars and why. I switched because I got good value for the C63s, always wanted to have a 911, and it was time to get a daily for the "dirty" jobs anyway. Was also considering a GT but it just did not have the same appeal to me as the 992.
