I gave little cosmetic upgrade to my car. I think it came out pretty well.
Initially, I went to all black letters but later wanted to upgrade side fender letters even more.
Ended up purchasing another set with red V8.
By the way, replacement I purchased came with old style "S" logo on the back. New logo has different design for "S" as shown below.
I am ok with either design.
I did the same, but i didnt really like the "red" of the side emblems.. i had some hq side decals made up ... and thinking about going al decals instead of emblems... ill put up some pictures soon...

I have been trying to find dark (black) chrome emblems similar to how MB does it for their newer AMG cars.
I can’t find a shop that has dark chrome lettering or wrap.

I had my detailer do it first time then I did the side fender one myself.

It looks like your V8 is shiny red. Mine is matte red v8 with shiny black biturbo letters.

I head that one is pretty hard to take it out. I am happy so far with mb badge staying silver for now.
