2018 C63S "Service Required Do Not Shift Gears Visit Dealer" FULL Battery. TS Help
Bought a 2018 C63S from Copart to either fix or part out. It was listed as "Mechanical damage" and from what I can see easily, the PO ran over something and it damaged a few components under the car.
I have ZERO power in the car unless I hook up a battery to the jump points in the engine (Picture 1). Side note: why would someone remove this entire panel and the air box inlet?
The battery shows 12V, and I tested it past the pyro-fuse, and it also shows 12V. Is there something else I can check?
The error messages on the dash after I hook a battery to the jump:
1. Service Required Do Not Shift Gears Visit Dealer
2. Parking Pilot Inoperative
3. ABS/Traction control Inoperative See Operator's Manual
4. Power Steering Malfunction See Operator's Manual
5. Suspension Malfunction See Operator's Manual
Thank you to anyone who can offer some tips that I can try. It's huge to get the car able to move around the garage.
Those aren't jump points in the front of the car; that's literally where the main battery sits. The W205 has two batteries, the main in the engine bay, and the auxilliary (for start/stop) that you found in the trunk. Computer likely needs a reset/recal/re-sync with the rest of the modules on the bus.
