RS5 Competition Plus

Back in 2014 I owned an RS5 V8, loved that car and also loved Audi and quattro system
I know this is not the place to ask and also not 100% comparable cars 😬….but would you consider change you c63s for RS5 Competition?
Not a fan of Porsche btw 🙈

My other issue with the RS5 continues to be the transmission. I just don't want a torque converter in a performance car despite the competition package trying to make the transmission programming more emotional, and the engine remains uninspiring for me despite removing some of the sound deadening so you can actually hear something. The competition package also did not increase the power output, which is another odd choice. BMW's competition package and AMG's S trim which is essentially the competition package both come with power output increases. I heard that Audi didn't wanna pay to homologate a higher output engine, so they just kept it as-is. The whole thing to me is a bit too little too late. A last ditch effort trying to make the RS5 more exciting and more emotional.
EDIT: Oh BTW, I don't really wanna go back to quattro. Sending 40% of torque to the front wheels under normal conditions when you don't really need it just numbs the steering. If AWD in a performance car then I much prefer 4-Matic+ or M X-Drive which both generally send a 100% to the rear unless the traction situation requires sending some of it to the front wheels, but even so, RWD is just more fun.

Biggest issue I see with this new Audi is lack of any power increase from standard model, very outdated looking interior, and manually adjustable suspension that I will probably not mess around much due to inconvenience.

Not 100% agree on the AWD, I miss how my RS5 was glued to the road…

I agree with you on how different c63 drives compared to a c300, Audi is much quieter as you say
Thanks @superswiss

That, and Park Place let me drive mine prior. The Audi dealers around here won't even let you touch an S/RS anything without a written confirmation of impending purchase. Nope.
(edit) Oh, and I even rolled in with the C63s the second time, just to see. They wouldn't talk to me. Nope x2.
