I know members are from all over the world BUT I’m sure a lot of us live near each other
is there a thread or sticky with Indy Mechsnic’s by state?

I was going to make a post if anyone knew about a good mechanic/speeds shop in northern NJ that could put on new downpipes.
But there are websites that do aggregate good euro mechanics in your general location, Idk if there is a master thread on it though.

I was not joking . I dont see a "M" in Indy Lol (insert eye roll) Im old and dont come here often so ive never heard of the term "Indy" referred to a local mechanic

An indy mechanic typically is a master of a brand or two and opens a shop dedicated to that brand.
this becomes increasingly important with more complex cars.
the idea is that for some tasks the indy should provide better service than the dealer. Or services the dealer may not provide.
Like adding oil catch cans on m177 engine
