Intake and turbo function question

or is it that colder air is denser and will have more oxygen to burn in the engine ?
is this correct in theory
12psi of 40 degree air will result in more power than 12psi of 90 degree air?
thx
Edit
with turbos by compression of the air, it naturally heats up. This is why we use intercooler. Be it air to water or air to air. So after compression by the turbo, cool it down with intercooler and into the chamber it goes. At a cooler denser temp.
a big effect as well is hotter air can lead to pre detonations easier then cooler air. So the computer has to pull timing-boost-or both. Not optimal.
in theory all else equal 14PSI of much colder
ambient air will help make power then 14PSI in Florida heat.
intercooler allow colder air and more boost safely. Our intakes are very good so the gains won’t be as massive. With intercooler you also get safety.
