3 questions (Nav, Tyres, Dash rattle)

Hi all

Had my 2015 C63S about 9 months now and I'm really enjoying it, I have a few questions which I was looking to get some advice on please.

1) Sat Nav Maps update - what is the best method for updating the maps, I hadn't really thought about it until a recent trip where I spent about 10 minutes driving through a field (according to the nav). I'm UK based.
2) Recenty had the annual road worthy test (mot) and they said the inner of the front tyres is wearing faster than the rest, is this common? Assume I'll just need a 4 wheel alingment doing.
3) The rattles and squeaks from the dash are not ideal, the central screen seems quite bad and then I had a really big squeak coming from the top of the dash by the A-pillar, it kept coming and going - I guess it's not an easy thing to tackle?

Thanks all

  1. Requires a dealer visit and forking over money, or contact BenzNinja or other outfits that offer map updates outside of dealerships.
  2. That's normal. The front has aggressive camber, but an alignment will never hurt. Toe tends to go out easily on these. The only thing that can be adjusted is the toe setting.
  3. Way of life. Firm and tight suspension will eventually knock stuff loose. I've had a failed clip in the A-pillar area even on my 2019 and they fixed some rattles in the dash under warranty. I still have a rattle somewhere in the dash and it comes out on rougher roads. The pano roof can also be noisy. I seemed to have a noise there recently, but it went away after opening and closing it.

#3. A rattle from the front passenger area. I wasn't able to determine where it was coming from. I dropped it off at a MB Dealership (under warranty) and they applied shop supplied Krytox Lube to interior and exterior roof seals. It correct the rattle and the rattle has not returned. See MB work order below.
