Facelift Traction Control Question

I have recently purchased a 2020 C63s sedan and was hoping to get some feedback from some owners. I come from a 2018 m3, and I always drove that car on its esp traction setting(pressing the traction button once and not being fully off) or fully off. Even on the esp mode it would let me completely send the rear out to do some pretty big powerslides. It also had just the right amount of wheelspin before intervening when accelerating. With the c63s, I feel like even on esp mode the car cuts power way too early. As soon as it spins just a little, it fully cuts power. I was wondering what settings most people here set their 9-stage traction to when driving to get similar results. Hopefully, people here who have maybe driven an f80 can chime in? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

Never drove an f80, but I will agree that the esp mode cuts power quite early.
I don't bother with the 9-stage, I turn it off completely if I want to do lots of sliding and tomfoolery.

ESP on is fairly conservative in the AMGs. I know the BMWs intervene less with ESP on, which is not a good thing. They do really bad in the moose test and as a result are terrible during an evasive maneuver. The C63S is highly adjustable. If I wanna have fun I put ESP in sport handling mode and then put DYNAMIC SELECT in Race. This activates the Master mode for AMG DYNAMICS, which gives you the best handling, w/ just enough stability control in case the crap hits the fan. I've been 90 degrees sideways with Master and ESP in sport handling. It's not just the ESP mode that matters, but also the AMG DYNAMICS mode. On the road I haven't needed more freedom.

If you really wanna drift, then RACE mode with ESP off and start playing with the TC stages. During the AMG Driving Academy events I had it around 7 going up and down to help me control the amount of wheel spin. You can basically play with it and use it as a helping hand to not overpower the rear wheels.

Here's the most recent moose test to give you an idea, but the F80 does equally bad. It's on YouTube as well if you search.

This was in RACE with TC at 7 if I remember correctly:
