Benefits of water methanol injection?
I live in a very hot area, where ambient temps can exceed 100F. During extended hard driving on these hot days, I can definitely feel that the car is not making as much power as it should be. (I am on stock intakes, stock turbo).
From what I can tell, the benefits of water methanol injection seem to be pretty attractive; decreased IAT should at least help alleviate these issues and make performance more consistent.
Can anyone attest to the benefits of WMI on this platform? The kits don't seem to be too expensive, but is it even worth it?

I can't speak for this platform specifically, but if you are stock I don't think the risk is worth the reward. There are a lot of shops that won't even work on cars that have had previous water/meth kits on it. If your car is a full on performance vehicle that isn't your primary means of transportation I'd say go for it as they can definitely make your car have more power when properly tuned and not have to switch to flex fuel or race gas.
