17' C63 AMG 62K Miles
Hey guys new to the forum, wanted to get some feedback on a 17 c63 AMG that has around 62k miles on it that I'm looking in to. Its my buddies and he's trying to sell it. He said its 100% stock and made sure to keep up with the maintenance on the car taking it to Mercedes dealership every time. I think he also upgraded the breaks but let me get back to you guys on that part. I'm not sure if he has done any research on how much the car is worth, but lets just say its well under 8k-10k for what the price he wants. Its almost a steal, I can purchase the car and literally go sell it the next day and almost make 6-10k profit from many dealerships that have already contacted me about buying the car. So its a no brainer buy in my opinion, drive it for a couple days I don't like it go sell it and make money. I'm going to check the car out this week and hopefully there's nothing wrong with the car. Any feedback on what I should look for into buying one of these German v8s? Any known problems for this specific year or w205 problems in general. I do want to add if there's nothing wrong with the car, and I do enjoy the drive, I want to dump like 10-20k into the car and take it to car meets in Las Vegas or anywhere close to where I live. Any suggestions on what I should upgrade first? Also anybody here from the Las Vegas area that can recommend me some solid shops to take it too, me and my girl just bought a house in Las Vegas so getting used to the new area a little bit. I have a '17 63S with 66k on it, other than routine maintenance never had a single issue with the car. It's actually my daily with a EC stage 1 tune.
Has he owned it from day one? Have him pull the MB internal report that will show everything done on that VIN by MB dealers. A carfax to coincide to match it up. If he's your buddy I assume he's not trying to sell you a car with issues.....

Ok nice, I think he just doesn't really care about the money and just wants to get rid of it. Once I buy the car I will take it into Mercedes and have them do a full inspection on the car. If there's something wrong with it I will just take it back to my buddy and have him refund me the money. Will probably have to write up a contract saying that I can return the car if there is any problems just to cover my ***. What are all the upgrades you've done to your car? I want to get an intake and exhaust system asap. Then a solid tune. Any suggestions on a Zac , CTS, VPR, black boost or eventuri intake? also will prob go with an akrapovic exhaust system, seems like the best exhaust with keeping the exhaust button working inside the car.. thanks for the feedback!
