I'm looking to mount a wing on the trunk of my FL coupe. I know that I'll probably lose the ability to automatically close or open the trunk via key fob or the tailgate button, but would the added weight break the hydraulic completely? I don't want the hydraulic to fail and resulting in me not being able to use the trunk at all.
