Standard C-Class (205) Suspension on a C63 (205) AMG
Hey Everyone!
This is my first post, and so please excuse me if my formatting is wonky. I have searched previous articles, with no clean answer; so I hope to get a solution here on the new thread.
I firstly am an ambassador for Universal Air (https://www.universalair.com/) and I would like to share my code, axelwphoto, for 5% off orders, if you're in the market!
Secondly, and on that note... Naturally, Universal Air wants me to pickup some air suspension on my new-to-me 2016 C63 W205 Sedan. Though, they've only confirmed fitment for their W205 product on a W205 C300.
My question is: Does anyone know if the C300's components would be cross compatible with the C63 of the same generation?? I.E. an air-suspension kit for a C300 would bolt up to my C63 with no issue?
It's clear the C63 is a different machine through and through. But, surely there is some cross over between the two for manufacturing sake.
Please let me know your experience, and I can't wait to get to know you all better!

My 2016 C63, with my two mountain bikes attached via SeaSucker's (yes, they work).
The issues you will run into with the C63 are less of the fitment nature than the electronic nature. The C63 has adaptive dampers complete with three suspension modes selectable by the driver and tied into the drive programs. The C300 doesn't have an adaptive suspension. Suspension modifications for the C63 are generally limited to springs and leaving the stock adaptive dampers alone. So unless they offer a suspension kit that ties into the electronic side of the C63, then you'll find it difficult. Took a quick look at their site. They do have a kit for the W204 C63, but like the C300, the W204 C63 didn't have an adaptive suspension as far as I remember.
