C63s w205 stage 1 tune
Hello, Im looking to tune my c63s w205 2016 to stage 1.
think they said ill go from 510hp to 575hp (so nothing maxed out crazy stage 1 tune)
but they say i should take a stage 1 tune of my transmisson aswell? Do i need to do this? And is it safe to tune just the engine?

For stage 1 and 2, you really don't need to tune the transmission, just an ECU tune will be enough.
I have a FL model (9 speed) with ECU tuning (stage 2), drove it for half a year, then did a TCU tune recently.
There isn't really any appreciable difference in performance, shifts just feel firmer and marginally faster. I can't speak on the 7 speed, maybe there would be a bigger difference for that transmission.
