New to forums, but thought I'd try it out to get some feedback from fellow enthusiasts! Just got delivery of my 2017 C63s Edition 1! What a car! Only thing that kinda bugs me is the Metallic Selenite grey with black stripes vs the original Magno Selenite grey with yellow stripes. My previous 2018 C63s coupe had the magno paint finish and I had installed the yellow stripes and ordered the Signal Yellow Webbed Apptech wheels from Germany to give it the Edition 1 look. Then I found this on couldn't miss out on that gorgeous interior. Funny enough I got delivery at the same time as another lucky buyer in Montreal with an Edition 1 in the Magno grey. I'd like opinions on which paint finish looks best amongst my fellow enthusiasts. Thanks!
P.S. Please forgive my dirty car (unforgiveable), snow is melting and had to bring it to get inspected.
Although i prefer the magno, I would highly recommend you do not touch or modify your edition 1 in any way that's irreversible. The same way you tried to make your 2018 into an edition 1 (which could always be spotted as a fake by a sharp enthusiast), changing the colour and stickers of an original would also make it look fake. (the stickers will never be the same).
Your car is a nice balance between aggressive with the stripe and more subtle than the yellow. i kind of prefer the black stripes anyway. Don't change it and regret!
Thanks for the reply! I wasn't going to change the color. I was considering applying a Satin PPF to change the shine of the paint. Don't know anyone who's done that either though so not sure how that would look. But certainly not repainting any of the panels!
