Idiot

Just wanted to share something funny that happened to me today

I was getting out from my garage and when in the road I noticed throttle not responding, full throttle nothing…car just would go up to 20km/h max…

After a couple of minutes I realised I had accidentaly activated the speed limit hahahahaha

How stupid am I?

This is why US spec models have the speed limiter deleted. It's a nice feature in Europe to help avoid getting caught by one of the many speed traps, until you accidentally activate it and don't realize what's going on. It's one thing if it happens pulling out of your garage, but a whole other thing if you need to accelerate in an emergency.

I'm still having a hard time getting used to the shifter on the right stalk. When switching between vehicles I sometimes still get confused. Ended up pushing the park button thinking I was pressing the washer fluid button. But even worse is I thought maybe I was low on fluid so I kept pressing it for a while like a total idjut (who can't even spell the word). Doh! Luckily that button gets disabled once you start moving.

Not for nothing, but I come from a generation where all this new technological advancement is overwhelming.
I suspect that even younger generations are experiencing similar situations.
Don’t get me wrong, I love some of the technology that provides exciting whiz bang features, but not all of it is good or helpful, at least at first blush.
There is a lot to be said for simplicity and reliability over advanced cutting edge technology.

Shifter on the right stalk definitely took some getting used to for me as well. When I switch between my cars every now and then I have a brain fart and push the window washer button when I wanna park or park when I want to want to window wash. lol
