Hi, I'm driving a C63 in Korea. The mileage of the vehicle is about 40,000km. I got checked at the Mercedes-Benz service center and they recommended replacing the front wheel bearing?
In Korea, the price of a bearing is about $700 per piece
I searched and found that w205c63 has no replacement other than Mercedes-Benz genuine parts, can you tell me the product name if there is an alternative?
Please understand if it's weird because it's written with a translator

standard pricing for "authorized service centre's" - try here: https://www.fcpeuro.com/
they also deliver internationally
would help if you can post the part number and/or year+model

I wouldn’t do it. Don’t cheap out on these parts. You have a 80-100k car. Its easy to replace them yourself

I would agree.
Purchase OEM (or better). Have a quality qualified mechanic install (if it works as a wiper blade, you can do this yourself).... but for those of us who are generally mechanically inept, get a pro to install for a part like this.
Purchasing from your "authorised serviced centre" is not necessary, you're just paying a convenience tax.

Do they actually need replacement?
Why do they recommend to replace wheel bearings with that low of kM on car?

If it is not making noise, do not replace it. Worn wheel bearings will create a humming or whirling sound when you reach a specific speed and when you move your steering wheel side to side while driving it makes the sound more pronounced. If it is not doing that I would question that recommendation specially for a 40k vehicle.
