I have recently had a few faults come up
I’ll include the images of the faults before and after I changed spark plugs
I recently went to tune my amg and the engine codes had me worried so I’ve delayed it,
however, there was a misfire on cylinder 1 (P0301)
aswell as turbo charger control circuit malfunction(P1693)
fast forward today
I now have replaced spark plugs (all 8) and now the misfire is gone aswell as the turbo charge code and now there is P0024/P0021 codes to do with camshaft positions being over advanced.
I will be doing the oil change as it received one 5000km ago however it was 0W-40 Mobil1 race oil and it’s much too thin for the kms that I’ve come to find out have 120000km on it ( previous owner odometer tampered) and installed a new cluster with 60k on it
so I will be changing the oil but is there anyone with similar issues on the m170 engines that can lead me in the right direction before I go to a dealer ?
