Hi Guys,

I would love and appreciate your help with this noise, it is driving me crazy and I am not sure if it is critial or not.

I have a 2019 facelift C63S (stock) which has started to make this ticking noise as of yesterday, almost sounds like metal hitting metal or something loose? seems to be more prominant when the car is around 3-4k RPM and I lift my foot from the gas pedal (not sure if it is even linked to this). I have attached a video for reference, this is me holding my phone outside the front drivers window while the car is travelling around 30-40kmh. It is worthy of adding, there is almost no difference in the cars performance but out of paranoia I have been very gentle with the way I have been driving. Sadly I can't isolate where the noise is coming from within the cabin. Sounds like it is towards the back of the car?

I have an appointment with Merc service centre next week for them to inspect it, but I would really appreciate it if you could also point me to the right direction to see if I can potentially resolve the issue myself.

yours sounds like it is the purge vale, it is around $300-400 to replace from memory, maybe start your own thread next time mate to keep the issues seperate.
