Selling my 2021 C63s Cabriolet. Where should I list it

I want to sell my 2021 C63s Cabriolet but not sure where I should list it. Having only 3,700 miles in pristine condition and custom ordered with a $99,000 msrp, I think I would benefit most by selling it privately. Would companies like Carguru, Cars.com, or E-bay motors be good options? If not, I would appreciate any suggestions of where I should list this special car. My next car will be leased so there really isn't a tax advantage to trade it in. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

I seen success of selling on this site itself. Someone sold an EQS 580 to a forum member, another sold an E 63 to a forum member.

Point is, most of us on the forums are car enthusiast and know how to appreciate these vehicles and in other words, it will land in good hands (at least most of the time).

You could also probably list it on BAT as well.

I'd use Bring-a-Trailer to try and sell your car. I've sold a car there and had a good experience. I think you'll get a higher price as that site is really for somewhat exclusive and more rare cars.

I just read the process of Bring a Trailer. I've been following them for quite some time. I was a little surprised about the 5% fee buyers are required to pay. Seems like a lot. They seem to be successful though

I haven't had any "bites" on mine either...posted here and on Autotrader. I'm debating whether to use BaT or Cars & Bids.

I ended up selling my car to HGREG Lux for $64k. Not what I wanted but was getting offers south of $59k. I brought it to the dealership and I think the salesperson went nuts when he saw how good of condition it was in, not to mention 3,600 miles. Oh well. Moving on

All I've received are really lowball offers from dealers and people asking "is your car still available." So I decided to go with Cars & Bids. Should be up and live in a few days.

Greetings from California. Looks like I’m the lucky one who purchased your C63 through HGreg Lux. What amazing condition you kept it in. All I have done to it is added Matte paint protection film to protect the immaculate paint condition. Thanks for taking such great care of it, I will be doing the same.

My old C63s

[QUOTE=Rpl1998;9248160]Greetings from California. Looks like I’m the lucky one who purchased your C63 through HGreg Lux. What amazing condition you kept it in. Glad to see it went to another good home. As you can see, I tend to baby my cars. Never even tried Launch control. One quick story; I’m a garage tinkerer, hobbyist, and inventor. I was using my large drill press one day that is only a few feet away from your car. The drill press is close to the garage door. During a project, I positioned the table of the drill press towards the garage door. I forgot to put it back and proceeded to close the garage door. As I was going inside, I heard a loud crash. I looked back only to find the drill press lying on the ground right next to the car. I reluctantly went back to see what happened. I was thinking it dented the whole back quarter panel of the car. Luckily it did not. If you look closely where the right rear quarter panel meets the bumper, you’ll see some paint that was scraped away. That was the only injury luckily.
I didn’t drive the car much as you know, but it was a really nice car. No troubles at all. Enjoy it and use it in the best of good health.
Out of curiosity, when did you buy it? Was it just recently?

We bought it at the beginning of April from the HGreg Lux in Costa Mesa, CA then drove it back home in the San Francisco Bay Area. 26MPG and made it 400 miles home on 1 tank of premium fuel. We saw the paint scuff but with the paint film it is very hard to notice and the rest of the car makes up for it anyways.
Would have never known how it happened until I started looking up the C63S forums. When I came across your post I was like wow that looks identical. Then I saw the vin number on the window sticker and was like no wonder it looks identical, because that is it! Don’t plan on putting more than 4-5k miles on it per year as it is mainly going to be a summer weekend cruiser. Going to take it in soon for the annual service at Mercedes. I bought a fidelity platinum warranty (7 year or 75k miles for $7000) when I bought the car just for piece of mind. My last S class with the biturbo engine needed a new turbo and timing chain repair which was $$$$. I see you’re a Porsche person. We were stuck between the C205 AMG or a 992.1. The 4.0 just sounds so much better than the 3.0, however, the 911 does handle better.

yes, the sound is better. In. Certain ways I liked driving the C63s better. Good move with warranty.
It’s a complicated car with the potential for high repair costs. Enjoy!!!
