C63s sluggish in 1st and 2th gear and low power in C mode
Hell im new in amg world I bought a second hand car i did some maintenance on it first it got codes p02177 cams adjusters and from time to time check engine with p0430 and since i bought it car a bit sluggish in C MODE OR bit slow response on throttle only in C MODE so what i did we diagnosed that to change all 4 adjusters and the chain we checked it it was ok everything from the mechanic done about changeing the cams adjusters codes was stored now they are clear but from time to time still got cat code Iive checked them they where cloged as in my country fuel also not always good so im still suspecting that this issue should be from the cats them slefe might be melted I tried to remove the secondery ones but is still the same so just asking any expiring about this
Replace spark plugs and 4 Spark plug holders
Then get new catalytic converters
Then replace upstream and downstream sensor #4
Looking at $2500 in parts and labor.

thanks iive changed the spark plugs and some of the coils car it feels better but still the issue for sure im still looking for the car catalyst i was trying to find OEM ones but it found out I need to left the engine and headache so im wondering if the after market downpipe with cat that it comes with 2 peaces and new o2 sensors can fix it
While this particular car does appear to have some actual issues, the above poster also has a point. The PFL (model year 2018 and older) doesn't use 1st gear in Comfort mode. It always starts in 2nd gear, so that's inherently sluggish. You can override it with the paddles and/or drive in manual mode, but otherwise Comfort mode in the PFL is pretty dull. The FL with the new 9-speed doesn't do this anymore. It always starts in 1st gear and moreover has shorter lower gears, so even Comfort mode is very responsive.

Thats right but I figured OP knew that because they’ve been replacing unnecessary parts. But yes you’re correct during a cold start the trans is sluggish.
