P0017 knocking after oil change
So I recently changed the oil in my C63s, and right after turning it on, I heard a knocking sound that didn’t sound good. The car then turned itself off, and I kept cranking the engine but didn’t start it i thought maybe priming it for a few times would help, and after the fourth time, the engine sounded normal. I turned it on, but the car started running rough. I checked the codes, and it’s a P0017 camshaft correlation. At first, I thought it might be the camshaft position sensors since I knew they were going out. I replaced them all, but nothing changed. I then thought maybe just the vvt actuators, so I replaced them, but the same thing happened. Now, I’m starting to think my chain is stretched or it jumped a tooth. I’m only getting a P0017 and sometimes a misfire code, but that’s probably from the timing problems I’m having now. I used Mobil 1 0W40 oil, so I don’t think the oil is the problem. I also put around 9 litres in it, so I’m not sure what caused the sounds and then caused my timing issues. If someone could chime in and give me advice or something that’ll be greatly appreciated.

You did not mention but did you check the oil again to see that it did not leak out of the drain plug?
