I only drive like 2k miles a year so haven’t gotten my service A done but noticed it changed to AN.
I know the oil gets old so still should change yearly.

I had my AH service done a few weeks ago. The service rep told me that A was the basic service (oil change and multi point inspection), and the second letter denotes 10K miles. My 2015 C63s was just shy of 80K miles. H is the 8th letter of the alphabet, if that makes sense.

The oil change interval for my C63s is around 3.500 miles on average.

No problem, I get an oil change every year.

 

Don't know if you had the MB required Service maintenence completed during 5 years/50,00 miles which includes A servive and Spark Plugs replaced. Then the 6 year/60,000 miles, which included the B service and a full transmission filter and fluid change..

The services are typically indicated by A or B, followed by an optional number 1 or 2. The number indicates additional service work that is due in addition to the standard A or B service. For example the transmission and rear differential are due for fluid changes at various intervals that coincide with an A or B service. Spark plugs are due every 5 year or 5k miles etc. All that extra stuff is what the second digit is for. However, I haven't seen letters being used for the second digit on my C63, but there are other recent posts where people got letters instead of numbers. Don't know why some models are showing numbers and others are showing letters.

Either way, the service intervals for these cars are 12 months or 10k miles, whichever comes first. Your car is way past due. Mileage is not the only thing that determines when things should be changed. Parts and fluids age, whether you have the mileage or not. Neglecting service like that is pretty insane on a performance vehicle, unless you want to risk an engine failure and fork over thousands of dollars to get a new one. I drive mine about 4k miles a year, so service is every 12 months regardless of the mileage. My spark plugs were changed after 5 years and the transmission and rear differential are serviced every few years as called for by the service schedule instead of based on mileage. Servicing a low mileage car properly is almost more important than a high mileage car as not driving them can have negative consequences as all the parts are bone dry absent of oil for longer than on a car that's driven every day. Seals and such can dry out, so last thing you want is old oil to make the issue worse. Moisture and fuel that can accumulate in the oil of low mileage cars isn't making the car last longer.

 

I don’t know about that as mine has 53k miles. My car said AN not AE.
