I would recommend cleaning and re-dyeing it.
Try asking the folks over in the regular 205 forum—the
convertible tops are all the same, after all.

no leaks as far as I can tell but it's a matter of time. Will need a whole new top, unfortunately.
Every shop I spoke to says you can't repair the window or replace it in its own. Unlike precious generations, these windows are not designed to be replaceable. And you can't even purchase a window on its own (used or new). The whole top must be replaced, unfortunately. So now the question is, do I go with a red top since I'm already spending the money?
I wonder if it will be tougher to sell the car later with a red top since I'd assume most people prefer plain black.
