Anybody in Northern California (South Bay) with STAR/Xentry DAS?
hey guys...wanted to see if anybody has a STAR computer and would be willing to assist me with diagnosis of my AirMatic.

short story got the AirMatic Malfunction message
error code check returned ONLY code 5508
reset error code, but 5508 returned

replaced compressor with brand new compressor
replaced relay with brand new relay
reset error code, but 5508 returned

verified all fuses, all relays, and compressor all good

redid the fitting on the plastic hard line on compressor as secondary safe measure...still receiving AirMatic Malfunction error message on dash

I've been told by a Mercedes Mechanic that 5508 means air leak...but my issue is that the compressor is not turning on at all.

any help would be greatly appreciated!
