Routine maintenance in LA

My sister recently moved to LA. She lives in Marina del Rey and works at UCLA. She has a W211 and needs some routine maintenance done. Any good independent shops in that area, or are the dealers reasonable with service pricing? (Oddly, in my area, the dealer is sometimes cheaper than the indys.)

Nothing? A search of the forum revealed Ray's MBZ in Pasadena and www.leistungautohaus.com, but would be grateful for any other suggestions in case those are too far for her.

Used to work there years ago!

Have a fantastic guy who is fair very talented with these cars and no "mercedes" tax he has saved us a ton!! Last repair we couldnt find quotes under $2k for some AC work...hair under $800 and all quality pts done in less than 2 days.
Very good with diagnostics/code issues, runs an honest shop.
Yes its a drive but knowing you wont get gouged is worth it
I typically do all my own work (cant anymore) and trust him 100%

Hope she finds someone loca but most places in MDR or that area are going to be very pricy. Sometimes you can find a good independent but she will have to spend time searching them out

I have taken my past five mbz's to South Bay Eurocar in Torrance. 20400 Western. 310 328 5786. Only works on benz and bmw. For 16 years he has serviced all my cars for non warranty service. Grown from a two man shop to now 12 people. Voted best in the south bay. Honest and reasonable. Uses only mbz parts. Tell him.Rick sent you.
