Own the podium!!

I dont know why we Canadians dont have this thread going. We now have 12 GOLD medals!!!

It seems the own the podium program is working, I couldnt be happier!

We kind of do own the podium being that we paid for it, however with 13 gold we are tied for record gold but not record medals, so I guess we own the center third but the rest is up for divs.

I have to admit that being a canadian it is a rather arrogant comment being at who are competition is and are.

I always thought it was a propaganda comment made by politicians to get us Vancouverites interested in the Olympics being that we are now stuck with the billion dollar debt.
