SOS in Vancouver
i know this post will be deleted soon,and my account will soon be blocked,but i still have to do this,tried to seek help online,this is my first effort.I'm a first-year international student at ***,i was so stupid following my friends to play Baccarat in the Vip room in the casino, I kept playing and kept losing,until I can't withdraw anything from my debit card,lost more than 50k,i couldn't stop then because I always wanted to win my money back,but when I stop,it's already too late.Now the summer semester starts,and I have no money to pay for the tuition fee and rent,I have no one that I can turn to.I tried to find a loan shark on Craigslist,but all the reply are scammers.I wanted to find a job,but I don't have a work permit.I can't tell my parents,because that wouldn't be useful,they wouldn't give me more money,and they would force me to go back my country,but I love the school and this city so much,and I don't want to leave here before I finish my education.If you know any information that can help me,contact me at ****** or ********,thank you so much.Sorry to bother you guys.

How the hell do you lost 50K a night and your debit card somehow doesn't have a limit for withdraw within 24hours?
There's iirc local loan sharks IN the casino from time to time you can "look" for. I don't know the specific details, but it's not the best rate/way to get back on your feet...
Don't go about not telling your parents you messed up, it'll only get worse.
I'd suggest sell your car, walk/translink to school, stay away from any casinos and study hard in SFU or Immigration will kick you back to where you came from.

first of all Debit Cards have maximum withdrawl limit of $3000 in a 24hr period at ANY bank. So #1 its impossible for him to have cashed out that much.
#2 I just don't buy his story in regards to not finding a loan shark anyways...
