CL600 v12 advise
Ok guys this is the deal i was planning on buying a used s class from 2007 to 2009 but everybody keep saying their reliability is ****.
So i was looking up in auto trader and i found out this CL600 V12 with 136K
at 16.999$ and i fell in love right away car was well taken car no tears in leather seats,steering wheel,no scratches on the outside i just loved it the person who had it really loved it.My brother was with me and keep saying oh car is in perfect shape price is good engine is clean so i really plan on buying it and him(my brother) being the future owner of a c400 4matic said i should fall back but im worried that car will constantly give me problems that will cost me thousands of dollars anyone here that can help me with this?

I love the V12 but if anything goes wrong with it ,it is very costly, i have seen coil packs go, suspension, door latches, window regulator, but when they are working they are beautiful to drive , i take care of a couple for my customers and they love it , if you like it buy it but just have your mechanic check it out properly .

They are nice cars... if taken care of they will treat you good. You need to keep up with the maintenance but maintenance on that will cost you...
Before you buy it check out prices of brakes, rotors, pads, oil changes, spark plugs (2 per cylinder = 24 spark plugs) all with labour and insurance. If you can afford that then that will help you decide.
