FS: 1997 E50 AMG - low kms - Victoria BC - $9,500 CDN
Up for sale is my 1997 Mercedes-Benz E50 AMG (W210 body). This is a rare vehicle because the European-spec E50 was only produced for the 1997 model year and was not available new on the North American market. Mine was assembled in May 1996 in Bremen, Germany. It is in excellent condition (no rust) and has just 88,950 km / 55,270 mi. I just bought a CLK63 AMG so this one has to go.
Any reasonable offer considered.
As far as I know, this car cannot be imported to the USA because it's not old enough for the 25-year rule. Happy to be corrected if that's not so.
What sold me on it is its 5.0L 342 hp DOHC V8 and 5 speed automatic transmission. It sounds great and the car is great to drive. I have had it since the summer of 2011.
Features: staggered 19" AMG-style wheels, two-tone leather interior, sunroof, stereo with wired mike for handsfree Buetooth operation, power everything, MB xenon headlights, AMG floormats + MB rubber ones for winter, religiously maintained at TC Motors in Victoria. No accidents. It's a hot car and looks it. It is the W210 body style.
The 1998 and 1999 E55 are identical to the E50 (pre-facelift).
