Hi all,

Newbie here. Newbie to MB and ordered 2016 GL350BT (x166) for Jan 2016. Pretty excited

Considering looking at rim/tire pairings of OEM rims across the border; Syracuse, NY (Romano MB). Also considering the First Class Tire and Rim protection package. 798 rims for summers ordered on GL350 (21 5-multi spoke AMGs).

Questions:

1) With current exchange rates, is it worth it?
Looking at 20" 5-multi spoke AMGs (A16640122027X21) with Scorpion Winters (275/50-20).
Cheapest pretax per unit (at least online in Canada close to me) is MB Oakville at $721 and $526 respectively and Ogilvie MB Ottawa at $771 and $499.
Online tire rack is USD300 for tires; rims cannot see online and I will call ...

2)If the price is right (even including customs at the border), will this American purchase be covered under the Canadian First Class Tire and Protection package?

Thanks for all of your suggestions,
PC

Congrats on the purchase.

May want to ask the dealer but I doubt they would warrant a claim on a product that wasn't bought in Canada. If you do get them maybe you could cross the border into Buffalo if you ever run into a problem.
