C350 brakes
Hey my c350 4matic brakes are squeaking real bad so assuming I need some new pads soon. Do you guys have any recommended shops with good prices around the Toronto GTA? Looking for OEM or aftermarket. Does not matter as long as they work well. Or online sites??
Thanks
Thanks

that will be my next set up, I've read its pretty amazing, a lot less brake dust and i mean a lot.
i've seen this set up on almost every model of car on the board.
Also you don't need to change the brakes until the light goes on you have 1000KM once the sensor goes to do the job.

Thanks for the reply man, appreciate it. It's weird because my breaks squeak a lot when stopping but when I'm going really slow just at the end, and it almost sounds like there's metal contact :/ not sure if that is normal??

Take a look at the rotors, is there a lip on them or and scraping marks. I had the weirdest thing happen a little rock or something got lodged in there and it made a weird sound for a little bit but once I changed my rims I noticed there was something lodged in. Probably a one in a billion chance to fit in the narrow gap, once I took it out it's been fine.
What I've noticed with my car when I brake hard I get a little wobble in my steering wheel, I'm starting to get a lip in the rotors. I'm pretty sure I'll need a full brake job in the next 25,000Km.
The OEM brakes have held up amazingly 100,000 KM and as far as records the dealer changed pads at 50,000 km to sell the car to me on my request lol. The dust is a little much though.

i havent noticed any wobble yet when braking hard, but there is a small lip on the rotors. im sure they may need to be replaced soon but i guess i have time with no warning light.
speaking of the wobble u mentioned, i get slight vibrations when going 120km +, do you think this is the wheel balancing?

Ya my pads look super thick but I'm starting to get an inside edge on my rotors.
It's been about 10,000 Km since I noticed my braking wobble. It's weird I'm sure it's something with my brakes.
But while driving any speed the car is sturdy. I get no vibration in the steering wheel. The only time I'm feeling it is while braking.
I'm not concerned about killing the brakes because I'm planning to get new red calipers, and the same set up you mentions OEM rotors and akebono pads.

I have tons of measurement tools as my old career was tool and die so I can do it with the wheel on but it's easier with the wheel off.
