2017 C43 Oil
Guys I have 2017 C43 with 45K (mostly hwy km)and recently did an oil change service from my regular shop. I change oil every 10K without fail. Just to try I this time used 5W40 Castrol Edge MB 229.3. Wondering if this change from 0w40 to 5w40 has any issues with AMG performance specs ??

unlikely. Technically, you should be looking at 229.5 as you have the newer and more fuel efficient engine (type 276), hence, 5w30 / 0w40 / 5w40 would be ideal.

+1 on the above. It has to be a 229.5 approved oil, not a 229.3. And, IMHO Castrol is at the bottom of the pecking order when it comes to oils... I wouldn't put that in any of my cars by choice. If you want something "generic" that you can buy at Canadian Tire, go with Mobil 1 0W-40.
