Fixing up 2010 W164 ML350 Bluetec
Hi all,
I have a 2010 W164 ML350 diesel, and it's been running great over the years, except for some minor issues:
- oil leak (confirmed engine oil leak), likely the common oil cooler gasket (parked since the pandemic, and recorded about 1.5-liter engine oil leaked)
- check engine light (3 code reads: all related to the AdBlue heater sensors)
We are looking to fix up those issues, and hopefully, keep it for a longer-term, we have ~110,000KMs on it.
Please advise if it's worth doing so, and it'd be great if there are recommended shops/garages in the Greater Toronto Area that would take such an old vehicle.

Just a follow-up on this, I took the vehicle to the dealer (Green Lane location, Markham, Ontario Canada), and here is the list (price in CAD$)
Diagnosis: $360.00
Glow Plug Output Stage Module (the glow plug light on, and disappears exactly one minute after the car engine starts running): $740.00
AdBlue Heater Element (check engine light codes): $1600.00
Transmission Oil Pan (rust/damage): $590.00
Oil Cooler Seals (oil leak, common issue in this diesel models, the o-ring gasket in the engine oil cooler): $2600.00
(Possible: Intake Manifolds Parts Only: $1780 )
Totaling: $7670.00 + taxes
