2 issues! - Mercedes Me App disappeared from MBUX? Hotspot not working?!
1. Has anyone experienced the Mercedes Me app disappearing from their MBUX?
I bought my car used and did have some trouble initially getting the car connected to my Mercedes Me profile because the previous owner hadn’t deactivated it from his Mercedes Me account (I bought the car at a dealership that was not a MB). Eventually my online Mercedes Me account was connected to the car by a MB dealership.
So I purchased the extra that allows me to remote start, which works, so does remote locks from my phone. But I have no access to personalization options and cannot connect to the Mercedes Me app in the car because it is missing! And the app says to, in the car, turn the ‘synchronize profiles automatically’ option in the general settings of the profile… which I do not have.
2. I also cannot seem to connect to the wifi hotspot. I purchased the data plan and the company assured me it they have it connected to my car. It just says offline all the time. When I turn ‘on’ the hotspot it just says:
I have tried restarting, resetting, cancelling data plan and waiting months before trying again.
Can anyone help!!??
