what would you do?
This makes me mad. What would you do? I took my CL in to the dealer the other day because the check engine light had come on. They told me that the engine ECU and its harness needed to be replaced. Futhermore there was some Mercedes "representative" that had to fly in and look at my car. So the guy does not show Monday, then tuesday, wednesday, he shows up a week late. The dealership has my car for 2 weeks.
Finaly I go to pick it up today, and notice they had put 270 miles on my car. My car is a very low milage car. I am always driving my other car to keep the milage as low as possible. In one whack, the car has an extra 300 miles on it.
was someone joyriding in my car? They told me they needed to "test" it and make sure that it is fine.... how long does that take? 20 miles? 50 miles? 100 miles? why are there 275 more miles on my car? Does this make sense to you guys? I think someone just saw a nice CL600 and said "I think I will take that home for the weekend"! ... am I being unreasonable?

You should ask for the service's detail. Just go there and ask your service rep "I noticed you add 300miles on my car...blah blah..."
Once again, service rep afraid of our complaints.
Or at least the next time you bring your car in, they won't do it again.

I'd be pissed. I would talk directly with the service advisor and speak/write to the owner. It's bad enough that they have to drive it at all and bring their filth and germs into your car. I disinfect mine everytime I get it back.
