It truly is, Jswedberg... I will admit that I am much more of a gear head than a boat loaver but I lke to mix it up at least once or twice a week. Nice to cruise but its also nice to do 65 on the water! I am not sure whether I would spend the resources if my boat wasn't 4-5 minutes from my house for easy access.

Remeber it is going to cost you 20% - 25% of the boats value PER YEAR, for upkeep, fuel, repairs, slippage, etc..
$100,000 Boat - Upkeep costs of $20,000 - $25,000 PER YEAR
Oh, and NEVER, EVER, EVER buy a NEW boat.. Purchase one that is 2 years old. The first year is when everything breaks, etc. That is of course if you have the money to not care.. Any broker will tell you that.. Boats are expensive to fix!!

I don't really care for boats either, the only boats that I absolutely love, and would ever consider purchasing, is a Fedship. They're the epitome of perfection. Think of a Fedship as the Maybach of the boating world.
A nice 125 foot Fedship will run you a mere $250 million, with an average build time of 3-4 years made at a shipyard in Holland. All Fedships are 100% custom to your specifications.

Greg Norman has a 252 ft Fedship that bosts a decompression chamber and a 54 or 57 ft sportfish as a couple of his options.
Those are quite stout. I wouldn't exactly scoff at a bertram or a Hatteras either. I am looking into Bertrams.

And to digress, whoever posted that the BMW would be last on your list...grrrrrrrrrrrrr. I actually rank my cars as: 1. Porsche 996tt. 2. M5 3. Z8. 4. CL600. 5. A6. The CL would move much higher with either a real F1 type of transmission or a 6speed manual. I do not like automatics-OrangeMarlin
So true! I would drive the CL everywhere if it had a manual 6spd. Nice cars BTW

Steve Chod, can you post some more pictures of your cars? Those are absolutely bad ***. I love what you've done with the cars. Orangemarlin, if you can, please more pics too. Your cars are insane! Nice cars all of you guys.
