Silver 2001 CL600 in excellent condition.

Picked it up yesterday and spend the whole day driving it. I keep finding new features I didnt know it had.

As it is a 2001 model, it has the older COMAND system with smaller screen.

Is it possible to display the map for current location without choosing a destination (I know the later COMAND has a button to do this)?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I know what you want.You want it to show the car position all the time when driving..You scroll all the way down from the first screen on the nav when it says like destination and some other things go all the way to the bottom hit the round knob on the right and it will put the map up there..Something like that..Sorry it's been a while since I have done it on that car.Hope this helps..

Good buy, I know I would of spent the whole day driving it as well. To bad I can't afford one as I'm in school right now..my CLK will do.
