has anyone here had any rust/corrosion issues w/ the w215 body?? i read in the UK, someone had one, but was not sure if is a substantial issue, or an isolated one. thanks in advance

2001 CL600
My 2001 CL600 has some bubbling of the paint on front of right rear wheel arch ans some actual corrosion ( of aluminium?) as well as bubbling on the left side.
Everywhere else is OK.
My father-in-law has a 2001 CL55AMG with bubbling on both front doors in rear lower quadrant.

There should be a warranty for rust and corrosion protection from the manufacturer. I'd check with them. It's usually a pretty long warranty and outlasts the standard bumper-to-bumper.
