Green Air Filters

Has anybody installed these that has the CL500 and noticed any seat-of-the-pants improvement that makes it a worthwhile mod?

I've put the K/N style filters in many different vehicles and really only noticed a decent change in my supercharged Lightning.

Thanks for your input!

I think its going to be tough to notice a big difference, but there is a small gain, no doubt about it. You have to be careful with the oil, as Renntech and Kleemann have both said to me they can cause damage to the MAF sensor. If you do buy and install one, please do give us some feedback. From what I have been told, the restriction lies more in the airbox than in the filter of this car.

I was thinking the same thing about the airbox. I haven't found anyone that seems to make any sort of intakes for the CL500 though.

I'll post my reviews on the green air filters after I put them in...but realistically, I'm not expecting much of a difference. I think when this lease is over I'm going for a CL55!!!
