2001,CL 500

is this worth it/ other questions please respond

i currently have a 1999 sl500 and am selling that and looking for a cl...can anybody look over this auction and tell me if this car seems okay...i can get it for 41k...i am not really familiar with cl's...

at first i didnt really like the rims but they grew on me...other than that it is going to save me money to buy a car already rimmed up and with tints...lastly the cl55 and cl600 all have the same body style right? thanks and please reply if you can or post any applicable comments because i need to make a decision soon if i should go ahead and get a cl500...thanks in advance

05 g35 & 04 cl 500

Yes the cl 55 and 600 hundred are the same body style. The car looks nice if you like it get it. Does it have the extended warranty?

Car looks pretty nice! The big thing I've noticed with my 03 CL500 is just that the interior plastics break easily....but you are getting something that looks very close to an 05 for a fraction of the price.

What I forgot to say on the last post is that other than the minor plastic items mentioned, the car has been great so far....but I've only had it for 3 months....

thanks for the replys..one thing i forgot to ask if anybody knows...on the carfax it says transmission serviced at 40,000 miles or whatever it was..was this the service a? if not maybe thats a problem..thanks

If it was covered by MB Warranty and Serviced by dealer, then it should not be a problem. Car looks clean, but see if you can negotiate the price just a little bit. Only issue is warranty. At 50,000...the MB Warranty expires. You can extend it to 100,000 miles and that probably would be the best way to go. Yes, you're paying more, but you're covered.
