SL500 vs. CL500 Problems
Is the SL500 as problematic as the CL500? A friend of mine is interest in the SL and is looking at buying one a couple of years old.

2003 CL500
i've talked to a 2004 CL600 owner and he told me>>
that he had an 03' SL500 and it was annoying to own. he said his CL is going strong with NO problems. but i will say that anyone can end up with just not a lemon but a car that is more problematic than others of the same model. my 2001 bmw 740iL was no picnic when i had it.

Have an '04 SL and (knock on wood) it's been entirely problem free since the day we picked it up. Only been back to the shop for routine maintenance...not sure what everyone else does to their cars ours (SL500 and E430 '01) have been nothing but problem free.
