Clear Lenses

If anyone's interested.....A post on the AMG forum yesterday links you to the euroautolights.com site. Looks like they just released some clear marker lights for the W215 to replace those nasty orange lenses...

It didn't take much to dig these up, but I may have answered my own request.
If these pics belong to a fellow board member & wishes them to be removed, simply "PM" me.

I think I want a set of HRE 547R & Brembos for my CL.

Hi-res pics to follow:

How do you install those? They don't appear to have screws. Do they just pop in and out?

Looking at the pics, they are probably held in place behind the marker with a couple of 10mm or 8mm bolts.

Not too familiar with the CL wheel well, but you probably have to remove a couple of the plastic pins/fasteners holding the inner fender trim to gain access to the back side of the markers.

I'm anticipating a 1.5 hr job with proper tools & taking my time.

Smoke

Mine is techtite grey and I didn't see an option for painted ones to match my car. Anyone found these in a smoked lense instead of painted or clear?

THANKS

If you are handy & capable, you may be able to buy a set of clears and "smoke" them yourself.

Just a thought. Dare to be different.

The pics I put up are stock yellow lights that have the tint spray on them.. You could spray them yourself with the paint. I had a body shop do mine.
