2005 SL55, 2000 CL500
CL500 Windows fixed.
I remember someone asking about the CL style windows.
Might have been in the CL55 forum.
How "once in a while" they would not automatically seal
after you closed the door.
Mine started doing this on the driver side. Got more and more
frequent in the last few months. Then the other day after
leaving the car at the airport for 3-4 days. Car does not start.
Get a jump. No problem.
Well it turns out the Battery had a cell that was going out.
Got a new battery. No more window problems at all.
Tip:
Get Mercedes Roadside Assistance to install the battery.
No labor charge !!

The batteries is not the problem. This is just the beginning of your window module going bad. I have the same experience and can't park the car for more then 1 week even with the new batteries installed.
You need to replace a window control module under the rear seat at the passenger side, one of the chip is bad and shorted, it will get worse as time goes.

Thanks for the info.
My "A" service is coming up soon.
Will hit my Service guy with the info. on the window module.
I have extended warranty and want to keep on top
of the few issues this car has.
The one that has also appeared recently
"Suspension squeek up front left"
Happens when you first get in the car ?
Any ideas ?
