Navigation CD
I have a 2002 CL500 and recently moved to the northwest, my friend let me borrow his Navtech CD 2 (Northwest Area) he has a BMW745, anyway when i inserted the CD on the Navi it tells me that it needs a DX Navigation CD, the CD i inserted is original NavTech CD #2 Northwest area, is there a different on the CD's? how do i know if the cd is DX or not as i need to purchase one now that live in Seattle, thanks a lot, by the way my CD #7 works fine

the nav cd's are model specific(meaning even different mb models do not share the cd/dvd's-some models do, but i don't know which). i don't think bmw cd's will work on your cl. but burnt cd will work just fine. look for another cl owner or borrow the dealer's nav cd and make a back up you will be just fine (not sure how legal that is and of course i have NOT done it myself
