Cl55 Vs Cl600

which one do you think will win?

CL55 - 500 hp 700 nm
CL600- 500 hp 800 nm

do you think that the extra 100nm of torque will make up for the extra 100 pounds or so on the CL600?

The extra front end weight of the 600 will very likely be apparent in the 600, as it is in the current 600. I expect my CL 55 in the first quarter of next year to replace my 02 CL 500 Sport. The 0-60 times are going to be quite similiar between the 600 and the 55. the extra torque of the 600 will probably manifest itself at speed and the quarter mile times will favor the 600. I do not fo much driving over 80 mph, so the 55 suits me, especially given the new seats and its handling (ABC tuning) at normal speeds.

Higher torque,more luxury made me order cl600 instead of cl55.
Today ,I got a call from my dealer:october 10 production,second half of november delivery,Tectite Grey with charcoal int.,parktronic,heated steering wheel,keyless entry-start and sport pkge(my dealer didn't have details or prices)

it depends on what you want..

Luxury (including silence, power, swiftness, prestige, etc) then definately go for the CL600.

Sport (including loud exhaust, loud engine, firmer ride, more aggressive look, etc) then definately go for the CL55 AMG

My guess is the CL55 will have an edge in the performance side because the gearing and tuning will be much more performace based. Quicker downshifts, a more dynamic adaptive throttle, etc.
