2001 cl 63 redo
I did not go and visit / test drive the car after all... Right, wrong or indifferent, I decided that this was not one of the original 26 2001 cl63's (again, I could be incorrect about that)... As such, will let anyone else take a go at this one... Seemingly a nice car... I already have a 2001 cl600 (without all the Renntech modifications) with lower miles, and since I am still saving for my SL 600 (already have a 1997 S 600), this was not worth my further attention... Good luck, and let me know if anyone purchases it, or if they need any further information about it (I live about 15 miles from this dealer)...

I do not believe that is a direct link to the car, but search pre-owned inventory, select Mercedes Benz and it is most of the way down on the first page...

Hello David,
This does not appear to be either an original CL63 or a RennTech-motored one. After reading through the online ad, the motor was listed as a 5.8 Litre V12, which is the same displacement as the standard M137 V12 found in the S/CL600 MY2001-2002. If it was indeed an AMG or RennTech, it would have been a 6.3 Litre variant of the M137 V12. Granted, this vehicle has RennTech upgrades, but unless the ad contains a typo about the motor's displacement, it is not a CL63. Interesting they didn't show a photo of the motor in the listing.
Best Regards,
HLG
