Weird jerking in my tranny.....
I had a quick question - the other day I hit a pothole in town and bent one of my wheels (3 Piece 20" symbolics). I took it to a local wheel shop & they are fixing it. I installed the 17" spare on my car along with the other 3 20" wheels. Aside from that, I also changed my battery while the car was still running so I wouldn't have to take it to the stealership so they could charge me $50.00 to "reset" my car after a battery change.
Well, I took my car for a spin around the block w/ the 17" spare in front and noticed that the transmission wasn't shifting correctly - the shifts seemed "delayed". No messages popped up or any check engine lights - is it because of the spare being a different size? Change of Battery? Or is my tranny starting to mess up??
The tranny started acting up after I drove it w/ the spare.
