RETROFIT: W215 CL500 Japan removal and AU / UK upgrade
I have been busy with a new project recently. It is a CL500 with Japan spec hardware being converted over to AU spec.
The left side of the trunk with the old CD stacker

Hi. No I dont import cars. I was given permission to modify two cars at the same time just by chance alone.
We made some parts lists and sent them over to MBENZNL for shipping. In reality the task itself has 3 stages.
1/ Working with the interior and trunk trims.
2/ Dealing with the wiring and changes in configuration + installing the modules
3/ Changing the coding and validation of correct operation.
I have seen and heard of some rather pathetic conversions being done locally and I am hoping to promote a better understanding of what is involved and what people should expect for their money.
Everyone works hard to pay for their car and I am promoting work done to factory wiring standards.
